Last nights scrimmage at Minnesota State's stadium turned out pretty well says the Kansas City Star.
Coach Herm Edwards was impressed with the way the Chiefs ran the ball, especially considering who wasn't playing Friday night. Besides Larry Johnson, Pro Bowl guard Brian Waters also was out because of a foot injury.
I'm having a bit of difficulting finding out if anybody was keeping any sort of stats or if there was any formal record keeping going on. If you find something, let me know."That was good to see," Edwards said.
Chris Bober is playing left guard in Waters' absence. Kyle Turley was solid at left tackle.
"I think Kyle Turley keeps getting better and better every time he plays," Edwards said. "He's a good acquisition for us."
Update [2006-8-5 11:17:5 by Chris]: The official Chiefs site says there is a power outage on the UWRF campus. After that is resolved, the site will post video and other info about the scrimmage.
